Garbage Pickup Schedule and Guidelines - Keeping HeyHeyVille Clean!
As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a clean and beautiful community, HeyHeyVille is committed to efficient and timely garbage pickup services. Here’s what you need to know about our garbage collection schedule and guidelines:
Garbage Pickup Schedule
- Regular Pickup Days: Garbage is collected twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. Please be sure to have your garbage ready for collection by 6:00 AM.
- Recycling Collection: Every Wednesday. Please separate recyclables from general waste and place them in the designated recycling bins.
- Holiday Schedule: On weeks with a public holiday, garbage collection will occur one day later than usual.
Preparation Guidelines
- Bagging: All garbage must be bagged. Loose items may not be collected.
- Prohibited Items: Do not include hazardous materials, electronics, or large furniture pieces in regular waste. These require special disposal arrangements.
- Bins: Ensure all waste is inside the provided bins with the lid securely closed to prevent littering.
Additional Services
- Bulk Item Pickup: Scheduled by appointment. Contact our Public Works Department at least 48 hours in advance.
- Yard Waste Collection: First Saturday of each month from April through November. Use biodegradable bags for yard waste.
